Doctors Forced a Mother to Give Her Child Hormone Treatments

It has always been a core part of “liberal,” leftist, identitarian, collectivist thought that a child’s natural parents do not have the sole right to make critical life decisions for a child. The foundational impulse is, “you do not own your children.”

But we do not believe we “own” our children. We believe that we are responsible for our children. That’s one big damned difference.

The idea got its start, as far as we can tell, in ancient Greece with Plato’s Republic. His idea was to separate children from parents at birth and to prevent them from knowing who belonged to whom. The plan was to create a culture where everyone had parental feelings for every child instead of only their own.

But that’s not how human nature works. We are limited creatures. We cannot care for everyone. By diffusing our care, you reduce the total amount of care each child receives. Maybe Plato meant well, but today, we know better. We know that without a biological bond with our children they grow up without something key for proper, healthy development.

That is why no one but the parents should have the right to make important decisions for a child. Today, leftist physicians are imposing trans-gender politics on the children of non-consenting parents. They do not love these children. They only see them as a canvas for a political agenda.

If they keep this up, they’re going to run into some angry, heavily armed dads — and God help them when that happens.
