The Democrats have a message for anyone who does not agree with them: “you are not smart enough to understand our ideas.”
These are the same people who believe everything they are told by CNN and their college professors uncritically. These are the same people who create and take courses of study that have zero scientific credibility. They are the same people who just ten years ago, watched sitcoms that are verboten today simply because they’re “woke.”
But if they are so smart, why don’t they know that chairman Mao created political correctness as a means to sow distrust between neighbors in communities? If they’re so smart, why don’t they know that Democrats owned slaved almost exclusively before the Civil War? If they are so smart, why don’t they know that leftist ideas have killed far more people than conservative ideas?
This kind of sentiment — the notion that you win the argument because your opponent is too stupid to understand — that’s what children do… little children. It is a cheap trick that transforms a philosophy into a godless religion where the divine is replaced by the all-powerful State.
It’s just another form of name calling — the only real debate tactic they have. And they are losing.
So, don’t listen when they call you stupid, or accuse you of being full of hate, or show a spittle-flecked grin and say what amounts to “I know you are but what am I?”
