Democrats Want a 70 Percent Income Tax now

Remember when Democrats called us all crazy for believing that modern liberals wanted to turn us back to the days of Eisenhower?

Well, the House has turned blue and the gloves have come off — and radical new members feel no need to conceal their true agenda anymore. In a way, that’s sort of a blessing — having far-left lawmakers shell out truly insane proposals is perhaps the best recruiting tool the Republican Party has had in a very long time. But there are dark consequences for this as more and more Americans are led to believe that there is no reason to freak out over the rich having to pay more taxes.

Now, what happens every single time taxes are raised on the rich? A couple of things are certain. First, rich owners of global conglomerates simply move and take their businesses elsewhere — exporting jobs overseas in the process. Second, other financial elites simply find legal loopholes around having to pay the top marginal tax rate. Either way, it’s a loss for everyone involved.

Once again, Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez proves she knows basically nothing about economics or business.
