Democrats’ TRUE Objective in Going After William Barr

Ever since Donald Trump defeated Hilary Clinton in the 2016 election, those on the left have clung to the Trump-Russia collusion narrative as their only beacon of hope for removing Trump from office.

This narrative was the entire focus of the Democratic Party and the liberal media alike. Now that Mueller’s investigation is over, though, the left’s most prized narrative has unraveled – and they are desperate to reclaim it.

For now, impeaching President Trump has been put on the backburner. Without evidence of a crime, Democrats have no hope of moving forward with impeachment proceedings. Unwilling to let go of the narrative they have been clinging to for so long, though, House Democrats are now turning their attention to impeaching Trump’s attorney general, William Barr.

Their justification for wanting to impeach Barr is shrouded in mystery, as there is even less evidence that Barr should be impeached than there is evidence that Trump should be impeached. The death of a narrative as important to Democrats as the Trump-Russia collusion narrative isn’t easy to accept, though, and Democrats will do anything to hold onto it – even if that means impeaching anyone who gets in their way.

Andrew Klavan explains the real motivation for this below.
