President Donald Trump was chastised during the 2016 election season for threatening to run the government too much like a business. Why a central executive would be bothered for trying to make a process efficient is beyond us, but that was the liberal narrative.
Now that Trump is putting his ideas into effect, liberals are taking even more shots. The appointment of John Bolton as national security advisor is causing them conniption fits, likely because that same efficiency that Trump is bringing into the executive space is now being brought into the nation’s foreign policy.
Bolton is a no-nonsense guy whose rhetoric only turns off those who do not understand the reality of dealing with foreign powers. When it comes to some of our enemies, liberals have advocated for negotiation and compromise, mostly because that is how their talking heads get paid. Bolton is actually talking about dealing with the governments around the world who would destroy us.
Democrats, who need a new attack point now that the fake news against Trump is falling flat, are hanging their hats on denouncing Bolton.
The truth is that anyone with any kind of outspoken conservative viewpoint is being raked over the coals by liberals. This is not because Democrats actually have a point to make, but only because they are trying to win a one way argument that they have started with themselves and are hell bent on never finishing (because it keeps that cash flow coming).
