Democrats are Openly Embracing Gun Confiscation

Gun confiscation is something that has been on the agenda of the Democratic Party for some time now. In the past, though, gun confiscation was something that Democrats tiptoed around and whispered about in secret.

Now, however, many members are openly embracing gun confiscation, and making it completely clear what they intend to do if given the chance.

Perhaps the most blatant example is presidential hopeful Beto O’Rourke, who has latched onto gun control as the issue he hopes will reignite his faltering campaign. When asked by a reporter to address people’s fear of gun confiscation, O’Rourke responded by saying that confiscating guns was exactly what he intended to do if elected President and that American citizens would be forced to sell all of their semi-automatic firearms back to the government.

O’Rourke, of course, isn’t alone in this radical position. As the Democratic Party has moved further and further to the extreme left, gun confiscation has become something that they are more and more willing to openly embrace.
