Democrats are Ignoring a Solution that Could Fix Most of our Nation’s Problems

In the last round of Democratic debates, the candidates offered their solutions for a wide range of issues, from gun violence to poverty to drug abuse. There was one solution to all of these problems, however, that was never mentioned — people need families.

Study after study has shown that a close family (or lack thereof) is one of the biggest determining factors for both crime and poverty. It’s a simple fact that individuals who grow up enjoying the support of close-knit family earn more money and are less likely to commit crimes.

For the past few years, though, the Democratic Party has done the exact opposite of supporting the importance of the family. Instead, they argue that only the government has the capacity to fix the problems with our society. In Hillary Clinton’s words, “it takes a village” to raise a child the right way rather than a close, loving family.

Whether the Democratic Party will admit it or not, though, the weakening of the family unit in our country is the number one factor that has given rise to most of the issues that our society now faces – and fixing this problem is the only way to get our society back on the right track.
