Cory Booker Continues His Grandstanding Tour
Cory Booker (D-NJ), continues to be a thorn in the side of decent, hardworking lawmakers everywhere. Grandstanding on the issue of legalizing marijuana isn’t enough. Being ostracized from his own black community for refusing to address their needs isn’t enough. Now, he has to grandstand on homosexuality, which is something that he has nothing to do with (we think…).
He has flip-flopped on Israel as well, which is an absolutely ridiculous stance to take, but this one takes the cake.
Cory Booker actually took up time on the Senate floor to ask Mike Pompeo, “Do you believe gay sex is a perversion?” This is actually in the Senate record, as Ben Shapiro noted. This is beyond the pale for what is supposed to be our major legislative body, supposedly with the smartest people in the room discussing how we are going to make America great again.
Regardless of which side of this issue you are on, what good is it to grandstand in front of Congress asking someone if they prefer to watch a certain type of sexual act or not?
Cory Booker is literally the worst senator that we have right now – a man who is reviled even by the black community who put him there. The fact that he is only one of a handful of black senators to ever serve only does a disservice to the Senators who served before him. They may have been wrong about many things, but they at least did not try purposefully to destroy the entire decorum of the Senate floor.
