Comedian Ari Shaffir SLAMS Leftist “Cultural Appropriation” Claims

The United States of America is a very unique place. For the better part of the country’s entire existence, the nation has served as a place where anyone and everyone — who is willing to put in the work — can come, live, and make a better place.

It’s no accident that, in addition to being the world’s foremost economic superpower, America also dominates the culture of every society it influences. Even after dropping two nuclear bombs on the Japanese Empire to close World War II, the Japanese have appropriated every part of American culture that it could. This is a trend that continues in the Far East and every other part of the world today.

This is what makes America special — the country is a one-of-a-kind hub that facilitates the free exchange of cultural ideas. Anything that promotes the freedom of the individual is accepted. Anything that conflicts with this timeless principle is tossed out.

So why then, do modern leftists complain about “cultural appropriation” — the idea that white Americans thrive on stealing cultural tropes from others?

Comedian Ari Shaffir ripped into this ridiculous claim with podcaster Joe Rogan in the video below.
