Beto O’Rourke is a man with a lot of ideas. He is such a visionary, in fact, he can barely contain himself when he wants to share them with us. This might be why he feels the compulsive need to stand up tables and chairs during his campaign events — he’s just so excited that he forgets to act like a normal person.
Well, Beto has a problem when it comes to ideas — they’re all plagiarized from other candidates. This is probably the hardest thing about running as a Democrat, especially when there are so many others running for the same thing. It essentially turns into a contest of who is promising to spend more taxpayer money on different pet projects. Bernie Sanders has his free college and healthcare, Kamala Harris has reparations, and Elizabeth Warren has…well, she actually likes to wait for other people to go first, so we’ll come back to her.
But Beto doesn’t concern himself too much with Wall Street, or foreign policy, or guns, or really anything important. He wants to be the man who defeated climate change — just like AOC. In fact, judging by the former Texas congressman’s insipidly stupid new plan, AOC may as well be running his campaign.
