Bernie Sanders’ Latest Misstep is Hypocrisy GOLD

Presidential hopeful and outspoken socialist Bernie Sanders has long been leading the left’s crusade to raise the minimum wage to unsustainable levels. He certainly, however, isn’t leading by example.

While Sen. Sanders is happy to fight for a $15 minimum wage if it earns him more votes, he isn’t all that enthusiastic about paying his staffers $15 an hour. In fact, according to recent reports, Sanders pays them as little as he is able to get away with.

Now, members of the Bernie Sanders campaign are taking to the media to complain about the hypocrisy of their boss – and they’ve got a good argument. It must be disheartening, after all, to work day after day campaigning for a man who promotes a $15 minimum wage while refusing to pay such a wage to his own employees.

Keep in mind that it’s not as if Sanders doesn’t have the money. Bernie Sanders himself is a multi-millionaire, and that’s not even counting his campaign funds. It seems, though, that Sanders has come to a realization that conservative capitalists came to a long time ago – some jobs simply are not worth paying $15 an hour.
