Ben Shapiro Reacts to Political Fight Over Kavanaugh’s Accuser

Since Democrats chose to make Dr. Ford’s allegations against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh public in spite of her wishes to remain anonymous, the Senate has been embroiled in a brutal political fight, the likes of which we arguably have never seen before in regards to the confirmation of a Supreme Court nominee.

Regardless of whether or not Dr. Ford is telling the truth, it’s incredibly obvious that she has been used as nothing more than a political pawn by the Democratic party.

Democrats in the Senate vowed to stop Brett Kavanaugh at all costs just moments after he was tapped by the President to fill Justice Kennedy’s vacancy on the Supreme Court. It should come as little surprise, then, that they are willing to stoop this low to make good on that promise.

By making the process as painful as possible for Brett Kavanaugh and his family, Democrats are hoping to convince him to withdraw – a tactic that they recently admitted to. If that fails, they hope to smear his name enough that moderate Democrats and Republicans in the Senate won’t vote for him. And, lastly, if that fails, they hope that Brett Kavanaugh’s confirmation will at least fire up their base enough to provide them with a boost in the midterm elections. To the Democrats, Dr. Ford’s allegations are nothing more than a political game.
