These days, it isn’t all that often that liberal media outlets such as CNN bring on smart, well-prepared conservatives such as Ben Shapiro. So, when Shapiro was given the opportunity to appear on CNN and discuss the problem of media bias, he didn’t pull any punches.
When asked what the most egregious case of media bias was, Shapiro was quick to point out the manner in which the media has covered the gun control debate. This includes only bringing on students who support gun control and allowing them to voice misguided opinions and even go as far as calling Trump and the NRA murderers without any pushback from the anchors who are interviewing them.
The CNN anchor who was interviewing Shapiro tried to explain away these examples of bias, however, in typical Shapiro fashion, the Daily Wire founder was able to easily negate any point that the anchor made. The truth is that CNN and others no longer make even an inkling of effort to disguise their bias, and when forced to defend the idea that they are objective journalists to someone as articulate as Ben Shapiro, they are left floundering.
