Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Claims to be a Scholar of History

On top of being an economic mastermind and a political genius, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez now wants the world to know that she is a scholar of history as well.

When asked by an anonymous social media follower if the younger generation was too “delicate,” Ocasio-Cortez responded by explaining that the younger generation is actually the wisest of them all since they, like her, have researched the “true history” of our country.

Of course, this leftist view of history that Ocasio-Cortez claims to be so well versed in is very different from the history you would read if you picked up a textbook that wasn’t written in the past few years by a far-left professor. In this version of history, the United States is an evil country, wealthy white people are responsible for all of the problems in the world, and capitalism is a system that has led to economic ruin. If all of this doesn’t sound like the history that you are familiar with, it’s probably because you’re just not as “woke” as Ocasio-Cortez and her horde of followers.

With “scholar of history” now among the many other titles that Ocasio-Cortez has granted to herself, though, there’s no limit to how far she could go.
