Actor Apologizes to Fans After Publishing a Pro-Conservative Tweet

For those who are entrenched in the cultural left – such as actors in the liberal snakepit of Hollywood – reaching across the aisle in even the slightest manner is seen as nothing short of heresy, leading to retaliation that is quick and unmerciful.

The unapologetically liberal author Stephen King faced the full force of this backlash when he dared to suggest that conservatives and liberals try to get along for just one day on the Fourth of July, and now actor Mark Duplass is facing the same backlash for tweeting out that his fellow liberals should check out conservative commentator Ben Shapiro if they wanted to learn more about how the other side thinks.

So swift and brutal was the backlash from the actor’s fans and fellow celebrities, that Mark Duplass quickly deleted the tweet and issued an apology for daring to step outside the groupthink of his Hollywood bubble. Less than a day after saying that Shapiro was an intelligent conservative with good intentions, Duplass apologized for supporting someone who is allegedly racist, xenophobic, and homophobic – all common liberal attacks on Shapiro that are no more true than when they are used against literally every other conservative in the country.
